NIBIRU- More commonly and famously known as the great "Planet X" - "Wormwood" or "The Destroyer' - is the planet many ancient cultures predicted as the planet 'destined' to cause devastation and "The End of the World" - a destruction of the Planet Earth on a massive scalewhich will wipe out all life as we know it and what many believe - caused The Great Flood, The Ice Age and the ultimate demise of the Giant Civilisation and Dinosaurs thousands of years ago.
Many cultures throughout the World share the common belief of this planetary phenomenon - strongly indicated in their rich histories, culture, artworks and myths. Modern technology is aiding in new discoveries everyday and as ancient architecture and text are deciphered and identified - it is becoming more obvious that ancient civilsations were aware of this celestial knowledge and through these mediums, communicated their findings to what many believe - warn future civilisations and generations of possible events to come.
An obvious and famous example which most people can identify with are the Hieroglyphs found in the Egyptian Pyramids. In particular - some recent pictures to hit the Internet show scribings of what appears to be our Solar System and Milky Way Galaxies. What is particularly interesting about the Hieroglyphs is that they indicate an 'unknown' planet / entity which is not included in our modern day model of the Universe. Now this is obviously not proof in the pudding that Nibiru exists - but one must ask the question - What is it and why did the Egyptians feel it was important enough to document this in their Hieroglyphs?
There are a few interpretations on this - One theory is that these the Egyptians depicted what they could actually see in the night sky during the time period, and that this planet existed thousands of years ago.
Some say the Egyptians and ancient civilisations existed in a time period where they were witness to a large planetary event which many believe was 'Planet X' colliding with what is formerly known as our Moon - previously thought to be a binary sister planet to Earth. The impact resulted in disastrous, cataclysmic effects on planet Earth, impacting tidal and atmospheric forces, and causing the destruction of the Giant Civilisation and Dinosaurs.
Being the advanced Astrologers they were - It is speculated that the Egyptians recorded their observations as a way of time stamping the event in Earth's history and to also warn future civilisations of a possible occurance.
A more believable theory is that the ancient societies were did in fact see Nibiru in their night skies and though their advanced knowledge of Astonomy and Astology discovered that it orbited what is called an 'eliptical' cycle - irregular to the circular orbit of the Earth and neighbouring planets around our Sun.
It is theorised that many millions of years ago, Nibiru was actually a member of our Solar System until a large object (possibly a comet or other planet?) disrupted its orbit when passing extremely close to the planet and possibly impacting. This allegedly had a 'sling shot' effect -sending it's orbit past the Asteroid Belt surrounding our Solar System and into the outer Galaxy.
Many still believe the unseen planet orbits our Sun taking approximately 3600 years to complete its orbit. "Apparently" the method of technology we use to observe the universe actually finds it easier to observe and identify objects thousands of light years away outside of our own galaxy due to the observation techniques used. Astronomers and Scientist say it is difficult to identify objects within our own Galaxy due to where we are located within it, and being on the"inside looking out".
Other scientist and conspirators say that Nibru or Planet X is actually a dark mattered object that is unidentifiable though high powered telescopes and that is that real reason why it cannot be identified.
Whatever the truth is - Astronomers have admitted there is a lot they don't know about our 'home galaxy' and likelihood of unidentified planets and objects is a high certainty and anyone would be naive to rule this out.
Those who believe in the theory say Nibiru did not collide with Planet Earth thousands of years ago and will not collide with the planet Earth upon it's return. Rather - due to it's eliptical cycle, every 3600 years completes it's journey - returning to the Sun, passing in such close proximity to the Earth that it would be clearly visible in the night skies in a moment of beauty, followed bythe wreak of havoc and destruction caused by its unseen gravitational forces.
It's interesting to note that if the planet Earth's orbit is quite temperamental. If it were to change by just one degree, this would causes massive changes to the Earth's climate, atmosphere, magnetic poles, gravitational pull and orbit around the sun. We are in the perfect "zone" for life to flourish and exist. Something as dramatic as interference from a planet passing near our orbit and disrupting the Earth's natural cycle would wipe out all life on earth as we know it.
IS NIBIRU ALREADY HERE?
Some believe that Nibiru is already orbiting within the confines of our Solar System, and some are predicting the arrival of Nibiru will coincide with the infamous date of the 'End of Days' some say is predicted in the Mayan Calandar - December 21st 2012.
Those who debunk the theory question that if it Nibiru was prevalent in our Solar System, then wouldn't the public be able to see this large object in our night sky? Surely the thousands of people fortunate enough to own and use a telescope for their personal use - pursuing their curiosity of the Universe would see this object of death and disaster heading toward Us and as a collaborative group - speak up and warn the people through mainstream media reports?
Our Governments would warn us - right? ( lol... sorry - had to add that one in)
Believe what You will.
This is one theory I didn't really take seriously at first but you have to admit - Nibiru may not be coming at us from the sky - but there is strong evidence that something is happening in our Solar System at the moment and conincidentally only just last week - NASA Scientists announced the discovery of a 'new planet' - located 'close to our Sun'.
Apparently this object is observable only from the opposite side of our sun (the justification for why it has not been discovered sooner) and is said to be 17 times the size of our Earth - the size of Jupiter in fact.
I heard this and had to laugh and think to myself... "Is this the famous Nibiru making it's eliptical orbit around the Sun?".
Based on diagrams of Planet X's theorised orbit I have observed on the internet, this newly discovered planet appears to marry up with the position of where the 'so called' Planet X would be if it was approaching the Sun in it's orbit. Although the sun is located a safe distance from Earth, Planet X's orbit is predicted to accelarate in speed upon it's journey around the Sun upon approach to Earth. As it increases in speed it will 'blind-side' humanity as it did in the ancient times where evidence of people found petrified undertaking their everyday duties indicate an event that happened so quickly that it appeared they did not attempt to prepare as theywere blissfully unaware of any imminent danger.
For the sake of humanity I truly hope that history does not repeat itself and I am wrong in my suspicions. I have to admit it is a little scary and just a bit too coincidental for me that news as big as an unknown planet so close to our Sun is discovered, announced (and downplayed by the media) in these uncertain times of Armagedon and Doomsday predictions.
